LPShares.com was created by Capital Commercial Investments, Inc. in November of 1999 to provide investors with industry specific advertising venues for investments in limited partnership shares. Current SEC regulations and General Partner restrictions on sale of these assets severely limit investors liquidity opportunities. In an effort to address the liquidity issue of these investments, LPShares was formed. 

LPShares.com is an internet-based trading exchange specializing in limited partnership shares.  Founded in Austin, Texas, LPShares.com intends to provide the owners of real estate, oil & gas, and venture capital limited partnership shares a place on the Internet to buy and sell these formerly illiquid securities.  Our mission is to establish a liquid marketplace for the millions of limited partnership shares that are in existence today. 

HOW DO WE CREATE LIQUIDITY?

LPShares.com endeavors to simplify this process by creating an exchange mechanism for individuals and institutions searching for liquidity. For a nominal fee, limited partnership holders will be able to list a share for sale and obtain qualified leads from LPShares' database of accredited investors. Investors using the site will have the ability to approach a General Partner with a potential buyer for the share in question. 

LPShares.com believes that establishing a liquid market place for limited partnership shares can create value in three ways.  First, it provides a source of liquidity to those holders who wish to dispose of their shares due to financial difficulties, those who wish to receive a premium for their well-performing investment, or to sell out of a disappointing investment.  Second, a liquid marketplace will help owners of limited partnership shares better understand the market value of their limited partnership investment due to the national exposure that the shares will receive.  Lastly, this liquid trading exchange will allow investors an opportunity to invest in undervalued shares in order to benefit from the appreciation of those assets. 

WHY LPSHARES?

LPShares.com uses a proprietary due diligence database to provide investors with detailed information on each of the offerings. The availability of confidential due diligence material (provided by the seller), will speed investors ability to value an offering. Contact information will be available to provide investors with any additional information, as well as a the availability of professional consultants to assist any sale. 

The due diligence process will allow investors to screen their investments based on any number of investment criteria. 

WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO LIST A SHARE?

LPShares.com is currently developing its market venues, and launched it's initial real estate trading exchange section in the Fall of 2000. Please direct e-mail regarding LPShares.com to Information. LPShares.com will maintain three trading exchanges: real estate, oil & gas, and venture capital limited partnerships.   Each site will provide buyers and sellers the opportunity to search for shares based on numerous variables.  

In addition to a trading platform, LPShares.com will provide links to sites that provide detailed research to assist in due diligence analysis.  LPShares.com will not offer assistance in the valuation of limited partnership shares, but we will provide links to real estate valuation firms for your convenience.

Paul D. Agarwal is the founder of LPShares.com.  Mr. Agarwal has over 15 years of experience in real estate investments.  Initially, he started LPShares.com in order to establish a liquid marketplace for real estate limited partnership shares. 

Robb Buchanan is the creative director for LPShares.com.  Mr. Buchanan has over 8 years of experience in the highly specialized and growing field of the web and Internet development.  He connects the management's strategic vision of the site while implementing company goals.
