According to an article from Fox Business, as the housing market faces difficulties, evidenced by 7% mortgage rates, Jade Shenker, a renowned real estate expert and star of Netflix’s “Owning Manhattan,” is encouraging people to shift their focus to commercial real estate. She believes it offers a “superior investment” opportunity and describes it as a “buyer’s market” due to increased supply and lower prices.

“The economy is always changing,” Shenker told Fox. She explained that over the last 20 years, the whole real estate landscape has changed drastically and with commercial real estate one can transform buildings, subdivide them, or market them to different users, making them highly versatile.”

Netflix describes Shenker as a commercial real estate strategist and a Top 30 Under 30 disruptor. She aims to revitalize the appeal of real estate despite current market difficulties. Since establishing SERHANT.’s under Ryan Serhant, a commercial division with nearly a quarter billion dollars in active listings, Shenker has managed over $650 million in luxury assets, excelling in restructuring, repositioning, and re-marketing projects.

Her innovative re-marketing strategies include creating music videos to showcase properties globally. Shenker utilizes Serhant’s firm’s cinema-quality production studio to produce these videos, bringing a unique approach to the industry.
