S US HWY 183 is a vacant land tract located on the southwest corner of McKinney Falls Parkway and S US Hwy 183 in the southeast submarket of Austin, Texas. Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority has undertaken a $850 million improvement project along US Hwy 183. The project, known as 183 South, or “The Bergstrom Expressway”, will expand the current roadway north of SH 71 to three lanes in both the north and southbound directions. The improvement will increase road capacity to three to four times current capacity.
